Branch Code vs Universal Branch Code
Let us look at the difference between a universal branch code and a branch code.
Universal Branch Code
Regardless of whatever branch of the bank you opened your account with, you may use this code for every transaction you make because it is the same for all of the bank’s locations.
With FNB Internet Banking, the system effectively picks the code for you as soon as you select the bank. I am not sure if other banks function in a comparable way.
If you utilize the global branch code when making online payments, you may still have your payments properly monitored if you often bank.
Branch Code
Each bank branch will have a branch code that is used to pinpoint where the branch is located.
