If you have a FNB account, you may use the eWallet feature to transfer money to anybody in South Africa with a valid cellphone number and have them withdraw the money from any FNB ATM or select businesses.
You may send money from your FNB account and have it sent swiftly, securely, and at the most cheap costs.
The money will be deposited into the eWallet of the individual you’re ‘eWalleting.’ You may transfer eWallet using FNB’s mobile, internet banking, or the FNB app.
When cash is deposited into an eWallet, the receiver can use it to make purchases at specified stores, purchase airtime, data, and/or power, and pay for goods online using the Cell Pay Point.
When using the Online Banking Service or the FNB app, you may send up to R3000 per day, and when using Cellphone Banking or the FNB ATM, you can send up to R1500 per day.
The eWallet can only hold R5000 and may be withdrawn from any FNB ATM or designated shops in South Africa.
You may reverse an eWallet by calling 087 575 9405 and asking for a reversal.
You are accountable as an account holder if money is transferred to an inaccurate number, and reversals may be subject to a cost and are not always guaranteed.
